maKeIT
KIT promotes the transfer of research results to industry and society with the maKeIT initiative. Together with the scientists, the maKeIT team goes on a discovery tour and identifies individual paths and opportunities that match the research, personality and goals.

Are you a student or PhD researcher interested in the topic of setting up a business? EnTechnon offers lectures and seminars on entrepreneurship and innovation management.
Community Congress
At the Community Congress organised by StartUpSecure KASTEL, members of the regional, national and international cyber security community come together to exchange ideas and explore a wide range of topics in person. We will also be presenting our Cyber Security Incubator.
Ideas Competition
Even the smallest idea can become something big. In our ideas competition, you will learn how to develop your idea, present it and take it further. And you can win some fantastic prizes along the way.

A key part of the German government’s startup strategy is promoting female founders and strengthening diversity within the startup landscape. This funding line includes events, consultancy services and support, as well as financial grants for prospective female entrepreneurs.

Soft Landing Inbound
Together with our partners, we connect the startup scene in the Karlsruhe and Rhine-Neckar regions with Baden-Württemberg and the rest of the world, and vice versa.
Soft Landing Outbound
Similar to Soft Landing Inbound, we offer regionally based startups the opportunity to get to know incubators at international partner universities and the respective international market at an early stage.

The course “Create – Protect – Innovate: Bringing Ideas to Market”, developed by the European Patent Office (EPO), is aimed at students and doctoral candidates who want to learn how to turn good ideas into real innovations – and protect them at the same time.

KIT-investments
KIT participates in selected spin-offs and assumes the role of a strategic co-investor. Our investment managers accompany the development of the spin-offs in close co-operation with the other investors from the start-up phase through the early development and growth phase to the EXIT.
