We think internationally.

Our goal is to work with our partners in the region to establish KIT as the first port of call for technology startups from southwestern Germany that want to tap into global markets, as well as for entrepreneurial talent and investors from abroad. The primary focus is on technology-oriented solutions in the fields of energy, mobility, digitalization, the environment, and health.

Soft Landing Inbound

Our programs and collaborations are aimed at international entrepreneurs in the early stages who want to get to know KIT and the startup ecosystem in Karlsruhe and the region. The focus is on an initial review of the business model and technology. At the same time, international startups learn about the advantages of settling in Germany and the associated funding and financing opportunities (e.g., through EXIST). In addition, KIT as host facilitates integration into various accelerator programs. We act as an intermediary and, in selected cases, provides additional office space and laboratory facilities.
