StartUpSecure KASTEL

With the IT security start-up incubator StartUpSecure KASTEL, we offer targeted support to researchers and young start-ups from all over Germany who are interested in setting up a company, in order to bring innovative ideas in the field of IT security into application and new start-ups more quickly. Global Horizon Program

Convincing internationally – that is the motto of the KIT for the next project phase of the EXIST funding programme. Together with the universities and colleges in Mannheim, Heidelberg and Karlsruhe as cooperation partners, we want to connect the start-up scenes in Karlsruhe and the Rhine-Neckar region, as well as technology start-ups from southwest Germany, with the world. TECH4TRANSITION

Entrepreneurship plays a key role in implementing the 2030 Agenda and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is precisely where TECH4Transition comes in, supporting the African start-up ecosystem through concrete measures in the areas of awareness raising, capacity building and development, and knowledge and technology transfer.

NXTGN – Startup Factories

In the future, startup factories will be the central points of contact for innovations in Germany. As NXTGN, we aspire to become one of these startup factories.

upCAT

The upCAT 2.0 Pre-Accelerator Programme is a new format of the accelerator programme in which students meet start-ups and work together. upCAT is a joint offering from EnTechnon, the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Management, and the KIT Founders Forge.

DeepTech Hub

We believe in the innovative strength of the Heidelberg-Mannheim-Karlsruhe start-up region. That is why we have joined forces with several partners to found the DeepTech Hub. The hub will make our region, our start-ups and our entrepreneurship even more visible nationally and internationally. Find out more here.

Ideas competition

Your small idea can become something big. Whether it’s for social impact, the next air taxi or some other crazy endeavour, have the courage to join in. We reward the best ideas with cash prizes in our annual ideas competition.
