The still young KIT spin-off Semorai offers manufacturing companies an AI-based quality assistant that enables them to automatically identify potential defects even before the start of production in the development phase and to assess their risk.
What does your company stand for?
We give engineers more freedom to develop highly innovative solutions for the challenges of our time by automating knowledge-based methods of quality and defect management in manufacturing companies through artificial intelligence.
Do you have any practical tips for other young entrepreneurs?
Many people are afraid of failure. In our opinion, you should assess the risk realistically. To do this, you look at the initial situation and think about how difficult it would be to restore it if you were to fail. Especially at a young age, when you don’t have so many liabilities like family, house, etc. and don’t have a high standard of living yet, the drop height is not so high and it is easy to restore the starting position. Therefore, starting a business out of school or university is a sensible and almost risk-free step. Moreover, one must always keep in mind that we (probably) have only one life and should use it to its full potential.
