maKeIT HAPPEN: Expats building their own paths: How the Right Communities Fuel Personal and Professional Happiness
We warmly invite you to our next maKeIT HAPPEN event, taking place on March 25th at K26. The event is free of charge, and snacks and drinks will be provided.
Join us in welcoming Vanessa Ladino and Iman Baratvakili, who will share their insights on how expats can build their own paths and how the right communities can enhance personal and professional happiness.
Vanessa Ladino works in Design Thinking and Innovation Management at KIT. She will discuss what it means to have a strategy instead of a plan, how to immerse yourself in communities, and how to cultivate a strong network.
Iman Baratvakili is an interdisciplinary thinker who teaches at KIT, manages a project for the city of Baden-Baden, and consults as a freelancer for EIT Urban Mobility.
He will share his personal journey and introduce the “Puzzle Approach”, emphasizing the importance of community, the distinction between Integration and Blending In, and how failures can serve as foundations for success. Additionally, he will explain his personal formula: Environment + Human = Decision.
We look forward to learning from Vanessa and Iman and engaging in a thought-provoking discussion. Feel free to bring your friends and colleagues along for what promises to be an insightful evening!
