SUSK welcomes a CS delegation from the Netherlands

Daniela Musial-Lemberg

In addition to the presentation of the KIT incubator and our StartUpSecure KASTEL incubator, relevant ecosystem partners such as the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry and Commerce, EnBW Cyber Security, the Steinbeis Europa Zentrum and WIBU Systems also presented the opportunities and possibilities for cyber security companies in Karlsruhe. An atmosphere that was both relaxed and professional contributed to the fact that all participants quickly felt at ease and were open to dialogue. Stimulating discussions were held, which were extremely enriching for all sides. The start-ups present from our own community – Validaitor, Aimino Tech and Xplicit Trust – also made valuable contacts.

The enthusiasm and commitment of everyone involved made this visit an inspiring event. Despite the tight schedule, we are endeavouring to arrange follow-ups with some of the participants.

The delegation then travelled to our project partner KASTEL Security Research Labs to continue their exploration of the innovation landscape.
