What the Road to START Summit 2025 was like

On 14 February 2025, the SpardaWelt Eventcenter in Stuttgart was transformed into a meeting place for innovators, investors and the start-up ecosystem. The Road to START Summit 2025 offered a unique platform for networking, inspiring lectures and an exciting pitch competition.
An evening of networking and inspiration
The event, organised by START Stuttgart, attracted over 250 participants from across the region. Thank you for the excellent organisation! Events like this one show time and again how strong the startup ecosystem is in Baden-Württemberg and beyond, and how networks continue to expand.
The pitch competition: the stage is set for innovative startups
The central component of the event was the pitch competition for early-stage startups. Eight promising founding teams presented their business ideas to a high-profile jury, which included Marvin Blättner from our team. Each startup had three minutes for their pitch, followed by a three-minute question and answer session with the jury.
Awards for startups in Karlsruhe
We were particularly pleased with the success of two startups from Karlsruhe: Prefiro GmbH secured a place in the exhibition area of this year’s Start-up BW Summit and a ticket for the quarter-finals of the START Summit in St. Gallen. senani also convinced the jury and stood on the winners’ podium. We warmly congratulate them and look forward to accompanying these innovative companies on their further journey.
Outlook: START Summit 2025 in St. Gallen
The Road to START Summit serves as a preliminary event to the renowned START Summit, which will take place in St. Gallen from 20 to 21 March 2025. This annual conference brings together founders, investors and technology enthusiasts to shape the future together. We look forward to seeing the winners of the Stuttgart event there again.
