Great founder barbecue at the TIL:FESTIVAL

Philipp Hauff

We were at the TIL:FESTIVAL for four days!

Dancing robots, an eSport test station by SAP, art made of algorithms, grilled food by the KIT Gründerschmiede, groovy music by the KIT Big Band – and all that in best weather. There was a lot to discover at the TIL: FESTIVAL from May 18 to 21. Of course, the exchange between science, business and society was in the foreground: exciting impulses and discussions have arisen around the topics of sustainability, innovation, founding and future.

We from the KIT-Gründerschmiede were also at the start and have, among other things, the exhibition with our Gründerareal co-designed. Here, members of the PionierGarage, the EnTechnon, Enactus, the HK with the [X]Lab and the KIT Start-ups were on site. At “meet a startup for coffee”, visitors could inform themselves about the topic of founding and exchange ideas.

The highlight was our 109th Founders’ Barbecue with over 300 guests.

In midsummer temperatures, Ralf Stüber opened the 109th Founders’ Barbecue on Kronenplatz in front of TRIANGEL Open Space and welcomed the Karlsruhe start-up community. Guests enjoyed bratwurst, chilled drinks and a relaxed atmosphere until late in the evening. We were very happy about every single one of you. Finally talking face to face again, toasting together and laughing.

We are already looking forward to the 110th Founders’ Cricket in June.
