Founders' barbecue celebrates the start of the season on Kronenplatz

We kicked off the barbecue season on 16 May with the 118th start-up barbecue at TRIANGEL Transfer | Kultur | Raum on Kronenplatz from 7 pm. The Karlsruhe start-up community got together to network over bratwurst (also vegan ;-)) and cold drinks. PionierGarage organised the preliminary programme from 5:30 p.m. with their travel report on their start-up tour to South Korea and Japan.

The Community Corner was new this year. Representatives from the Karlsruhe start-up ecosystem stood here and were available for interested parties. The PionierGarage, the CyberForum, the university groups Enactus and studentec as well as Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences were also present.

We were also able to present the Karlsruhe Startup Map for the first time that evening. This printed overview map provides Karlsruhe students with all the information they need on the topic of start-ups. From ‘keen, but no plan’ to ‘first idea’ and ‘working business model’, this map is intended to provide answers and an initial orientation. The map is the result of a collaboration between PionierGarage, KIT-Gründerschmiede, CyberForum, Enactus, studentec, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
