Maximilian von Lonski, CEO of VISS, wins the German Startup Cup in the Cybersecurity category at this year's IT Summit Germany.
As part of this year’s IT Summit Germany 2025, the German Startup Cup was awarded – a prize that recognizes innovative young companies and provides them with visibility, exchange and access to a strong network. The aim of the competition initiated by GFFT e.V. is to promote innovation in the IT sector and connect start-ups with experts and user companies in a targeted manner.
A special highlight was the final of the Startup Cup, where six finalists from the Cybersecurity and AI & Software Development categories presented their solutions live to a panel of experts and the audience. The decision was not easy – but VISS came out on top in the Cybersecurity category with a convincing pitch.
Maximilian von Lonski, who represented VISS on stage, impressed with a practical and forward-looking solution. This secured him a well-deserved victory in a high-caliber field with other finalists such as Mitigant and XplicitTrust (a start-up from our community).
In addition to exciting pitches, the summit also offered inspiring keynotes, intensive panel discussions and numerous opportunities for professional exchange – with topics ranging from cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to software development.
