Pre-program Founders' Barbecue meets StartUpSecure

The StartUpSecure KASTEL story ignites the next stage!

On September 28, 2023, the KIT-Gründerschmiede will host the 116th Founders Barbecue in the Kaiserstraße 26 in Karlsruhe. The event, which has meanwhile been well attended, starts at 5 p.m. with a pre-program, which this time is aimed at the IT-security-community. Immediately after the pre-program, the event will continue and mix with Founders Barbecue event at TRIANGEL.

The aim of the event is to bring together the IT security start-ups from the four StartUpSecure incubators in Karlsruhe, Darmstadt, Saarbrücken and Bochum. In order to simplify the exchange between the start-ups and the other guests, we are preparing our stage for real start-up story pitches. The start-ups will have the opportunity to present their stories “in a nutshell” to our regional and international audience and to test their performance skills.

In order to give the event additional added value, we invite researchers, companies, investors and other relevant players from the IT security sector to this event. We would also like to do more to promote knowledge transfer. Therefore, together with the KIT Institute KASTEL, we are organizing a picture vernissage dedicated to the IT-security research.
