Cyber Security & Privacy meet Big Data
The Community Congress is an annual live event focused on relevant topics in cyber security, targeting the entire innovation ecosystem.
Our initiatives aim to foster the direct exchange of knowledge and technology between academia and the worlds of business and society. We are strengthening collaboration among stakeholders from science, industry, and policy, and we highly value the engagement of individuals from the broader public.
For our 2026 event, we have chosen the theme “Cyber Security & Privacy meet Big Data”. The increasing use of large volumes of data is fundamentally transforming the security landscape – from intelligent threat detection to data-driven risk assessment. This development is opening up new avenues for innovation and business, particularly for cyber security start-ups. Examples include the use of AI on large data pools or the development of privacy-compliant analytics platforms. At the same time, data protection, data anonymization, and securing complex data flows place high demands on security and compliance.
In a world of rapidly growing data volumes, the responsible handling of big data is becoming a key factor for sustainable and trustworthy solutions.
With this year’s focus theme, we aim to connect start-ups, experts, and decision-makers, and provide concrete impulses for secure, data-driven innovation.

The fourth Community Congress took place on April 10, 2025, under the theme “Mobility & Cyber Security”. Creative minds from the startup scene, leading researchers, policymakers, industry pioneers, and international guests came together to explore the future of mobility and the cybersecurity challenges it brings.
