How start-ups, science and authorities are pulling together.
The 15th IT Security Day once again highlighted the importance of collaboration between startups, academia, and public authorities. Our team – represented by Alexander Graf and Kamelia Maleschlijski – attended the event on behalf of StartupSecure KASTEL.
Our Highlights:
🔸 Candid opening by IHK President Volker Hasso Hasbargen
🔸 Case study on the 2023 cyberattack by Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences
🔸 Pitch by Adam Lundqvist, CEO of SQUR – a startup from our community
🔸 Keynote by Beate Bube (State Office for the Protection of the Constitution BW) on hybrid threats
Why we were there:
With StartupSecure KASTEL, we support cybersecurity startups – from the initial idea to successful spin-off. The project is part of the national StartUpSecure incubator, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
