It is one of the biggest takeovers of all time in the German video game industry. Kolibri recently earned around €100,000 a day with its mobile games for in-between. The start-up was founded four years ago by four former KIT students. During the founding phase, they closely cooperated with the KIT-Gründerschmiede, were very active with PionierGarage e.V., the student entrepreneurs in Karlsruhe, and the student consultancy delta Karlsruhe GmbH. Kolibri currently employs around 100 people in Berlin.
