What a kick-off into networking season!

At least five new contacts – that is the basic principle of Founders' Barbecue. At the first edition of the year, which was also the 123rd overall, this goal was more than achieved by many participants. Over 300 founders, people interested in founding a company, and supporters of the Karlsruhe startup scene came together to network, exchange ideas, and gather new inspiration.
Celebrating with founding spirit and anniversary
The event was also part of the celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of KIT. This double occasion made the founders’ barbecue a special evening – with lots of good conversations, ideas, and contacts that have the potential to grow further.
Speed dating with impact
Even before the barbecue itself, the DeepTechHub matchmaking event took place at TRIANGEL. In an open speed dating format, startups met talented individuals and were able to strike up conversations right away. Initial team constellations and collaborations were formed on the spot, demonstrating the importance of face-to-face encounters.
Thank you to everyone involved
Special thanks go to the Würth Group, which supported the evening as a partner, and to Jerrik Boysen, who opened the event with a short keynote speech. Above all, however, we would like to thank all participants – whether they have been active in the community for many years or are completely new to it. The evening showed once again that the start-up scene in Karlsruhe is alive and growing and brings together people who want to make a difference.
