KIT spin-off INERATEC achieved 1st place at the Baden-Württemberg 2022 State Prize with its sustainable eFuels. This technology allows ships and aircraft to refuel with “renewable energy” while saving CO2 and ensuring a more sustainable future.

The second award within a week came right after: the 1st prize at the European #EARTOAwards22 in the category “Impact Delivered”. The EARTO Awards recognize research and technology organizations in Europe whose innovations demonstrate social and/or economic relevance, market presence, and demonstrable impact.
