Gründen ist auch Kunst! Um dieses vielleicht im ersten Moment sehr philosophisch klingende Thema ging es bei IMPULSE im Oktober.
With our IMPULSE evenings, we at KIT-Gründerschmiede pursue one goal: We want to inspire and arouse enthusiasm for the topic of entrepreneurship. But we also want to arouse interest in everyone for whom “founding” is perhaps still a long way off today, as well as to provide impetus for everyone who is perhaps already working on an initial idea or who is in the middle of the process and work.
And we want to use the format to provide new food for thought that may help to question what we have “learnt” and apply new ideas.
This is exactly what we achieved with Prof Günter Faltin and Prof Orestis Terzidis on 26 October in a very well-attended TRIANGEL.
Both gentlemen have been dealing with the topic of entrepreneurship for a very long time, both have a background in teaching, among other things, and both share a common point of view: founding a company should also be understood as an art form in which ideas and concepts are at the centre of a creative process.
Or to put it simply: Founding is also art! And that was the central theme of the IMPULSE evening “Founding as a total work of art”.
Why should founding be coherent with the person? What advantages can the “founding in components” approach offer when founding a company? And is it suitable for every start-up or can you even afford it at the beginning? And how can Ikigai’s approach, which focuses on the connection between passion, vocation, profession and purpose, be applied to the start-up process in order to create successful companies?
This and much more was exchanged and lively discussed during the evening with a great audience. And with the very positive feedback on IMPULSE in October, we are already looking forward to the next evening in November.
