Even at the 121st edition, there’s always something new. Due to bad weather, the Founders' Barbecue had to be moved at short notice from Kronenplatz to the TRIANGEL venue. We had a full house with almost 200 participants who, despite the weather, created a great atmosphere.
Even during the pre-program, there was already a lot going on, and more chairs had to be arranged spontaneously. The KSRI also offered exciting insights and organized five presentations on various topics. Peter Hottum and Dr. Carsten Holtmann introduced the KSRI community, Emilia Graß spoke about cybersecurity in healthcare, Martin Junghans discussed data for combating climate change, Stefan Nickel covered AI, and KIT founder Jörg Siegel presented his successful start-up RoomPriceGenie.
In conclusion, there was a brief discussion with all the speakers, where critical aspects of AI were addressed, and many intriguing questions from the audience arose. The listeners were particularly interested in the start-up RoomPriceGenie, which dynamically adjusts hotel prices using complex software.
The evening transitioned directly into the well-known Founders’ Barbecue. We were particularly pleased with the exchange in our brand-new community corner. Here, we gather together with our partners, CyberForum, IHK, Pioniergarage, Enactus, and studentec, allowing for quick and easy conversations.
