The learning platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to provide students with personalized learning content. With comprehensive learning support, an AI tutor, and a wide range of materials, Knowunity does not aim to replace school – but to complement it in a meaningful way. Transparency and security are always at the forefront.

Knowunity was founded by Benedict Kurz, Gregor Weber, and Lucas Hild in 2019 – and a lot has changed since then. The company now has over 70 employees and is based in Berlin.

Knowunity has some more impressive figures: over 21 million users in 17 countries, funding of 48 million euros, and a 4.7-star rating in the App Store. This makes it Europe’s fastest-growing learning platform. And it doesn’t stop there: this year, the startup expanded into Latin America and Southeast Asia.
