The most innovative start-up idea is sought - especially the sustainability aspect is taken into account in the concepts of the founders.
A good idea and a lot of courage – that’s how most start-ups begin. The current economic situation shows that innovative start-up ideas from the fields of natural sciences, digitalization and sustainability are becoming increasingly necessary. For this reason, the J.J. Darboven company is once again pleased to be able to award the Darboven IDEE Promotion Prize to three female entrepreneurs in 2021. For the renewed award, the sustainability aspect will be included as a new criterion in the concepts of the founders. Innovative, sustainable business concepts are thus supported with up to 50,000 euros.
Application
Interested female entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present themselves and their business idea briefly and concisely on the J.J. Darboven website using the official application form. Based on the applications, the jury of experts will then decide which female entrepreneurs and concepts they would like to learn more about.
Participation criteria
Female start-ups and young entrepreneurs who have been self-employed for no longer than three years are eligible to take part. The decisive factor is the entry in the commercial register. In addition, it is checked whether the start-up idea is purely due to the female applicant (without male support). The jury also considers the novelty of the business idea, the successes achieved and expected by the company to date, and the personal commitment of the female founder. The sustainability of the business idea in terms of social, ecological and economic issues will be included in the decision for the first time this year.
