Cybersecurity for SMEs

Cyberattacks are increasingly targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) — often with serious consequences. To help businesses strengthen their defenses, the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Karlsruhe), together with StartUpSecure KASTEL, is hosting a free online webinar. The event will focus on current challenges and practical cybersecurity strategies.

A highlight of the program are the three startups from the StartUpSecure KASTEL Community, presenting their innovative approaches to cybersecurity:
– VISS showcases solutions for secure digital identities and authentication processes.
– Nodeline demonstrates how network activity can be efficiently monitored to detect attacks at an early stage.
– SQUR presents new encryption technologies to better protect sensitive company data.

The event also includes insights from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and practical advice from the Cybersecurity Transfer Office at the FZI Research Center for Information Technology.
