After asking around among friends and acquaintances, Jonathan was immediately on board. The two know each other from their dorm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What is your big vision?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To found a profitable software company that saves energy costs through intelligent software and advances the energy transition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Where do you see significant hurdles in the start-up process?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Basically, there are no deal-breaker hurdles. The start-up capital for the limited liability company (GmbH) has to be raised first, and there is a lot of bureaucracy and paperwork, which means that everything could go a little faster.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We sought support from the KIT Start-up Center and various accelerators (CyberForum, arise, AXEL), through which we also received mentors for assistance. And, of course, we also have support from friends, family, and acquaintances.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What were the biggest challenges during your start-up phase?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Finding the right people with the right motivation and skills is not that easy, and securing financing is also quite a challenge.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>How did you solve the problem of (follow-up) financing?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are currently financed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/kit-gruenderschmiede.de\/service\/foerdermittelberatung\/\">EXIST start-up grant<\/a> and are looking for an investor for the BW Pre-Seed Program.<\/p>\n\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<section class=\"o-blog-text-w-side-image o-blog-text-w-side-image--space-lg\">\n  <div class=\"container-lg\">\n    <div class=\"row\">\n      <div class=\"col-md-10 offset-md-1 col-xl-8 offset-xl-2\">\n                <div class=\"row align-items-center\">\n          <div class=\"col-md-6 a-animate--fade-in-left js-animate a-animate--delay-1\">\n            <div class=\"o-blog-text-w-side-image__text s-content\"><h3>What are your next big milestones in the next 12 months?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Securing investment and BW Pre-Seed funding and releasing the first version of the software.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>In your opinion, what qualities should a founder have?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy their work and be able to deal with setbacks. Our tip: Just do it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>What would you do differently from today&#8217;s perspective?<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If we knew that&#8230; Maybe we&#8217;ll be able to answer that
