Moderator Sandra Sch\u00f6ttelndreier from our team led an exciting panel discussion with the following participants:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thomas Neumann (Head of KIT-Gr\u00fcnderschmiede)<\/li>\n<li>Iris Schwenk (<a href=\"https:\/\/quantumsimulations.de\/\">HQS Quantum Simulations<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Benedikt Klee (<a href=\"https:\/\/formic-transportsystem.com\/\">FORMIC Transportsysteme<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Christoph Gr\u00fcn (<a href=\"https:\/\/cavigen.eu\/\">CAVIGEN<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The discussion was open and practical, focusing on how research can be turned into start-up potential and what is needed at universities, in networks, and in politics to make transfer a success. The conclusion: Tech transfer is not a sure-fire success \u2013 it needs targeted support, good structures, committed people, and the right incentives. In the community corner, <a href=\"https:\/\/join-nxtgn.com\/\">NXTGN<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ktur.eu\/\">KTUR<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyberforum.de\/\">CyberForum<\/a>, and we as the KIT-Gr\u00fcnderschmiede presented ourselves and answered questions about start-ups, support services, and new ideas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A special highlight: spontaneous pitches by the startups on our stage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Founder Barbecue not only offers space for relaxed conversations, but also for initial contacts, new collaborations, and direct inspiration. It is a place where people with ideas, questions, and ambitions come together \u2013 regardless of whether they have already started a business or are just thinking about it<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Part of NEULAND Knowledge Week<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The day was part of KIT&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.triangel.space\/wissenswoche-neuland\/\">NEULAND Knowledge Week<\/a>, which took place from July 1 to 5 and invited participants to discover innovations and talk about transfer.
