The special feature: In order to enable the successful transfer of scientific knowledge to the economy, these alliances will consist of both public and private sector institutions, thus combining the best of both worlds. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n  \n  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"col-sm-6 col-lg-6 offset-lg-1 a-animate--fade-in-right js-animate a-animate--delay-1\">\n        <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"o-text-w-side-image__image\" src=\"https:\/\/kit-gruenderschmiede.de\/content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Startup-Factory_2.jpg\" alt=\"Bundeswettbewerb Startup Factories\" \/>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"\" class=\"o-text-w-side-image o-text-w-side-image--reverse o-text-w-side-image__overflow-top\">\n  <div class=\"container-lg\">\n    <div class=\"row o-text-w-side-image__row\">\n      <div class=\"col-sm-6 col-lg-5 offset-lg-1\">\n        \n<div class=\"m-text-w-label \">\n  \n  \n      <div class=\"m-text-w-label__text js-animate a-animate--fade-in-up a-animate--delay-07\"><p>The new name of the network was also announced with the award of the concept phase of the lighthouse competition. &#8220;From this summer, our common name will be NXTGN &#8211; derived from Next Generation. It underlines the goal we are all working towards: a successful, innovative and closely networked next generation of companies and their contribution to a sustainable society,&#8221; says Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth, Vice President Transfer and International Affairs at KIT. To support this vision of the next generation of companies, the NXTGN programmes bring together start-ups, science and established companies.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n  \n  <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n      <div
