The first Deep Tech Soft Landing bootcamp of KIT-Gründerschmiede took place with 15 Chilean start-ups. In a highly interesting pitch session with expert jury, six teams presented their business idea. The two winning teams will participate in the NEULAND Founders Pitch 2021.
As KIT-Gründerschmiede, we have taken up the cause of internationalization for startups as a major topic, both for mediation abroad and as a contact point in the southwest for foreign startups. A first step was made last week with the first digital DeepTech Soft Landing Bootcamp supported by ProChile. Together with our program partners Baden-Württemberg International (bw_i), Start-up BW, Gründermotor, CyberForum, fokus.energie e.V., we virtually welcomed 15 Chilean teams to KIT, Karlsruhe and Baden-Württemberg and presented them with a comprehensive 5-day program: What does it take to get a foothold/start with their business in the German market? What are the legal things to consider as an international start-up? And much more.
Six of the founding teams also received one-on-one coaching and feedback sessions. At the end of the week, these six teams pitched their business idea in front of an expert jury (High Tech-Gründerfonds (HTGF), LEA Partners, First Momentum Ventures, axel.energy & EnTechnon). The two winning teams Suncast and Go Quantum will participate in the NEULAND Founders Pitch 2021 and present themselves digitally at a booth at the NEULAND Innovation Day.
