Accelerator Program upCAT (Startup Catalyst)

Do you already have an idea for your own business and need a push to implement it? Then our Startup Catalyst – upCAT is just right for you.

Twelve weeks, three key events, six teams:

The best teams work on their value proposition, business model and on speeding-up the market entry – together with mentors, experts and coaches. At the end of the program at the demo day you will pitch in front of business angels and investors.

Why upCAT:

We promote and challenge startups on their way to a valid business model. During the three month of the accelerator the selected startups get to know methods and tools of validation and how to use them. Experienced mentors and entrepreneurs will accompany the teams.

Who:

Six teams, students or scientists of the KIT, can work in a 12-week intensive program on their idea.

When:

upCAT#5 started on December 5, 2016. The demo day will take place on March 27, 2017.

What to expect at upCat:

  • Theoretical and practical preparation for the startup
  • Input and supervision through KIT professors and experienced Senior Experts
  • Support from experienced mentors
  • Building up a network
