KIT Gründerschmiede

From Invention to Innovation

What do I do if I, as an academic, have a good idea? How can I make use of my technology? Who can support me? We answer these and many other questions in our courses at the Fortbildungszentrum für Technik und Umwelt (Advanced Education Center for Technology and Environment) at KIT.

The seminar round about patents, licenses and startups

The course is directed toward all academics and leaders at KIT, who want to get to know the foundations of a successful patent operation. In addition to the legal foundations of Intellectual Property Management, practical methods of marketing and use of technology are covered, for example, for partner searching and project initiation. Furthermore, we present what services at KIT you can use to efficiently market an invention.

For legal reasons, only KIT employees are allowed to participate in the course. Unfortunately, students and other external interested people cannot sign up.
